Happy Monday, friends! Today I’m thrilled to share with you my review of Third Hour by Lisa Phillips! Be sure to check out this awesome romantic suspense novel that features African-American main characters!
*NOTE: This is book #3 in the Northwest Counter-Terrorism Taskforce, and I highly that this series be read in order.
About the Book
Hiding from her enemy.
Talia takes an assignment at a bank, where she meets a dashing Secret Service agent. Before anything can happen, the NSA analyst is implicated in a cyber-crime.
Mason knows there’s more going on, but Talia won’t tell him what happened to her.
When the hacker closes in, and the Secret Service office is targeted, the only way to uncover what’s really going on is for them all to trust each other.
But with their histories, that’s a whole lot easier said than done.
Good thing the Northwest-Counter Terrorism Taskforce is on the case.
*a Christian Romantic suspense*
An excellent third installment in this series! I have loved Talia since she first appeared in book one, and I have been eagerly anticipating her story ever since! I was not the slightest bit disappointed! Third Hour was fantastic. I loved every minute! And, let me just say Mason was one hunky and totally amazing hero, and he and Talia make such an awesome couple!I absolutely love how Talia uses her talent and skill with technology to stop criminals and save the day, and I especially loved that the tech speak was written so well that I found it easy to follow and never felt confused about what was going on, even though I am not a computer genius! The suspense was fabulous, as I have come to expect from Lisa Phillips’ books! Once again I adored the banter and camaraderie between the members of the Northwest Counter-Terrorism Task Force team and can’t wait for the next time I get to hang out with this gang of characters that feel like friends! This book was just SOOOO good, I absolutely loved everything about it and cannot wait for the next book in the series! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You won’t want to miss a moment of this action-packed romantic suspense series!
I received an ebook copy of this book from the publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

About the Author
A British ex-pat who grew up an hour outside of London, Lisa attended Calvary Chapel Bible College where she met her husband. He’s from California, but nobody’s perfect. It wasn’t until her Bible College graduation that she figured out she was a writer (someone told her). Since then she’s taken the Apprentice and Journeyman writing courses with the Christian Writers Guild, and discovered a penchant for high-stakes stories of mayhem and disaster where you can find made-for-each-other love that always ends in happily ever after.
Lisa can be found in Idaho wearing either flip-flops or cowgirl boots, depending on the season. She leads worship with her husband at their local church. Together they have two children–a sparkly Little Princess and a Mini Daddy–and two bunny rabbits.
