MY THOUGHTS

Filled with surprises and twists and turns, Last Line of Defense is the exciting conclusion of the Chevalier Protection Specialists series. Judah, the British teammate, is pulled into a mission by the British intelligence while the rest of the Chevalier teammates are searching for him. He encounters Soraya, a reporter intent on clearing her name after she tried to tell the world about Traver Industries. I enjoyed the storyline of Judah and Soraya and the ending of what happens to Isaac. It is a page turner.

MY THOUGHTS

I love this series as it keeps on getting better and more interesting. I was curious as to why Eas had to wear a mask since he first appeared in book one. Now that the reason why has been revealed, I enjoyed getting to know Eas and Karina, along with Aria, in Last Man Still Standing. As always, Lisa kept me glued from the first page to the very end. Fast paced and clocked full of surprises, this story will keep you entertained and wanting more. I also enjoy the cameridian and banter of the Chevalier Protection Specialists team.

My THOUGHTS

I love reading The Last Chance County series and meeting the characters in this series. Expired Flight is suspenseful and filled with surprises and twists. Jeff comes across Toni as she is running away from someone, but she hit her head and has amnesia. Jeff finds a piece of paper with his address from her pocket and wants to know why. The two of them try to piece everything together as Toni struggles to remember who she is, who she was running away from, why, and if she had murdered someone. Both of them have some things in their past they have to deal with. I highly recommend this book and this series.

And the first line is…

My Thoughts:

An excellent third installment in this series! I have loved Talia since she first appeared in book one, and I have been eagerly anticipating her story ever since! I was not the slightest bit disappointed! Third Hour was fantastic. I loved every minute! And, let me just say Mason was one hunky and totally amazing hero, and he and Talia make such an awesome couple!I absolutely love how Talia uses her talent and skill with technology to stop criminals and save the day, and I especially loved that the tech speak was written so well that I found it easy to follow and never felt confused about what was going on, even though I am not a computer genius! The suspense was fabulous, as I have come to expect from Lisa Phillips’ books! Once again I adored the banter and camaraderie between the members of the Northwest Counter-Terrorism Task Force team and can’t wait for the next time I get to hang out with this gang of characters that feel like friends!  This book was just SOOOO good, I absolutely loved everything about it and cannot wait for the next book in the series! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You won’t want to miss a moment of this action-packed romantic suspense series!

(5 Stars!)

I received an ebook copy of this book from the publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
